Welcome to the ‘Defect Removal Tool.’
In printable and other forms, the spreadsheet is available for you and your sponsees, and I have written two essays on this worksheet that discuss the use of the tool.
- Defects Removal Tool – Action oriented worksheet
- Defects Removal Tool – My Story How the Worksheet Came to Be
My Story How the Worksheet Came to Be outlines how and why the tool came to be, and we hope that this will help understand how to best use the tool. The second essay, discussing the tool, is also helpful in understanding the principles of the spreadsheet and the process.
The Defect Removal spreadsheet is one of the most popular elements of the website, and we hope you can use it to good advantage.
And of course, if you have any questions or suggestions that can improve the presentation of the tool, please let us know. We love hearing from you.

If you are printing from Safari, be sure that the scale is set to 100% before printing
Hi there, Just working on the annual defects sheet. I printed it and the type is very small. A thought, if the document is in landscape and in an excel format it might be easier for folks like myself.
Thanks, will take this in hand and correct, to make it easier. Thanks for the input.
The third link on the page is Excel format. I will work with Andy to correct the formatting of the PDF versions.
The printable defects sheet has now been corrected. Please be sure to refresh your page once you open it, or your browser may still show you the old version. If you are printing from Safari, be sure the Scale is set to 100%.
